Board of Directors

The primary objective of the Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival Society is to gather people together as a community to celebrate fibre arts as an expression of beauty, wellness, community, and economic development.

The Executive Committee consists of the chair, vice-chair, past chair, secretary/treasurer, communications chair and additional directors. The executive committee holds the responsibility for the overall leadership of the festival and setting the festival’s long-term goals and objectives, and the review of these. The executive committee will:

• provide strategic direction for the festival in areas of finance, planning, and governance;
• provide oversight of key activities; and
• to review on an annual basis the festival’s performance.
